Lucas Di Grassi tops the timesheets in the final practice session of the Paris ePrix

This morning saw Abt driver Lucas Di Grassi topping the timesheets in the final practice session ahead of the Paris ePrix ahead of Jose Maria Lopez and Sebastien Buemi.

At the start of the session, we saw many drivers putting in some 200kw laps, especially the Mahindra Racing driver Felix Rosenqvist who set the pace early on. We also saw Lucas Di Grassi pushing the limits in the session and did lock up at Turn 1 while trying to find the grip and the pace on the circuit.

We also saw Techeetah driver Esteban Gutierrez going straight on into Turn 1 and was nearly joined by DS Virgin Racing driver Jose Maria Lopez and later on in the session Adam Carroll did the same as Gutierrez. But the main incident was Mike Conway who is standing in for Loic Duval who is racing in DTM this weekend, had a spin at the final corner and narrowly avoided the barriers.

Buemi was the quickest man on the track with a lap time of 1.01.359s that was quicker than Buemi in P1. Di Grassi finished ahead of Jose Maria Lopez in second place who was 0.200 seconds behind and ahead of Sebastien Buemi in third place who was 0.222 seconds behind Di Grassi.

Daniel Abt finished the session in fourth place ahead of Sam Bird in fifth place, Felix Rosenqvist in sixth place, Nico Prost in seventh place, Oliver Turvey in eighth place, Jean-Eric Vergne in ninth place and Robin Frijns in tenth place.

Nelson Piquet Jr finished the session out of the top ten in eleventh place ahead of Esteban Gutierrez in twelfth place, Stephane Sarrazin in thirteenth place, Mitch Evans in fourteenth place and Jerome D'Ambrosio in fifteenth place.

As we head into the latter stages of the grid, Mike Conway ended the session in sixteenth place ahead of Antonio Felix Da Costa in seventeenth place, Tom Dillmann in eighteenth place, Nick Heidfeld in nineteenth place and Adam Carroll in twentieth place.
