“The market for electric vehicles is showing no signs of slowing down with registrations up 122 per cent this year, compared to the same period in 2018. So, it's great for us to get the chance to showcase the benefits of these fantastic cars. For visitors attending the Show they'll get the chance to get up close and personal with some or the latest models on the market and even get to test drive some.”

Over one hundred extraordinary pre-1905 pioneers will be present with the vehicles taking part in the annual Veteran Car Concours d'Elegance on Regent Street, ahead of the Bonhams London to Brighton Veteran Car Run which takes place the following morning.

These veteran motors will be joined by collections of evocative classic and desirable contemporary cars bridging time within automotive history as the Show celebrates the past and showcases the future.

Ben Cussons, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club, said: 'The Regent Street Motor Show is all about telling the story of the automobile through the ages. Electric vehicles are now a big part of the current story, so it's fitting that we are now welcoming Go Ultra Low onboard as the latest partner of the Show. Drivers considering a switch from combustion engines to electric ones need to be informed about the facts and should be taking the time to experience what an electric vehicle is like to drive. With Go Ultra Low offering both their expertise and short test drives of electric vehicles on the day of the Show, it's a great opportunity for members of the public to become better informed about going electric.'

With Regent Street honouring its 200 year history both as an internationally renowned shopping destination, these celebrations will take on even more significance this November.
