It was announced earlier this week that the Toro Rosso team confirmed that it will launch its new car, the STR12, on the eve of the first pre-season test in Barcelona.
The team will take the wraps off its new car in the Circuit de Catalunya pit lane at 16:30 on Sunday 26th February ahead of its first day of testing the following day.
The STR12 will carry the hopes of drivers Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat this year and will also see the team return to a Renault engine supply after a year of using a year-old Ferrari power unit in 2016.
The team fired up its 2017 car for the first time last week and released a video via Twitter (see below).
Sainz will complete the first day of testing in the STR12, which will also take place at the Circuit de Catalunya. **
